The new master has to be slightly oversize, see above. The finished master has to undergo a close scrutiny, before it can be accepted. Only then can an offprint be made and the real production can begin. But still each Bronze is hand-chiselled to finish and when the product is a brooch (fibula), it is naturally fitted with a pin also handmade according to it's original historical pattern.
